When working with a bride, one of my favorite moments is helping her choose her wedding gown. Your gown really sets the tone for the rest of the wedding. It’s the biggest style decision you’ll make throughout the entire wedding planning journey. There are so many different thoughts that brides want to evoke in their gown – beautiful, romantic, ethereal, chic. I’m lucky to work alongside amazing boutiques and dress designers that help my brides achieve their wedding dreams. Isabelle Armstrong NY is one of those amazing designers and I’m so thankful I got to collaborate with their team on this gorgeous shoot showcasing their 2017 bridal gowns. I was elated when I found out I was getting the opportunity to collaborate with Isabelle Armstrong NY! Their 2017 bridal collection had just come off the runway of New York Bridal Fashion Week mere days before and was so fresh! Their gowns were unlike anything I had ever seen – full of so much detail and texture. I worked with the talented Jake and Heather Photo to style and photograph these gowns in a way that hadn’t been seen before. Most of the bridal campaigns we commonly scroll across are moody and stagnant. I wanted these gowns to be captured in a way that I could envision my brides wearing them. Our goal was to encapsulate the joy, natural beauty, and movement of a wedding day while also featuring the fantastic detailing of these couture gowns. I think we accomplished that vision. Let us know what you think!
